Ticket triage and updates
Find, summarize and update tickets, add notes and reassign work without opening Autotask. In Claude, tickets appear as interactive cards.
Open-source middleware for Autotask PSA
Work in Autotask from the AI chat you already use: Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant. Report on and update tickets, time, billing and clients in plain English, without being locked into another vendor's web app. Add your whole team, each with their own permissions. GDS Technology hosts and runs it for you.
Why PSArelay
Most AI tools for MSPs give you their chatbot inside their web app. PSArelay works the other way round: it plugs Autotask into the AI your team already uses, and your data goes wherever you need it.
| Topic | Typical AI tools for MSPs | PSArelay |
|---|---|---|
| Where you work | Their web app or their chatbot | Your favorite AI chat: Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible assistant |
| Reporting | The dashboards they built | Ask any question. Get answers, tables and exports in the chat |
| Changing data | Fixed actions and workflows | Update tickets, time, companies and billing in plain English, with approval steps |
| Your team | Priced per technician, often one shared bot | Everyone works as themselves, flat price per MSP |
| Permissions | All or nothing | Role-based: each person can only see and change what their role allows |
| Switching AI | Locked to the vendor's AI | Change assistants any time; PSArelay stays the same |
Built for your whole team
Roll PSArelay out to technicians, dispatchers, account managers and billing staff. Each person connects their own AI assistant, and PSArelay knows who's asking.
What it does
More than 170 Autotask actions across tickets, time, companies, contacts, projects, billing and inventory, organized into the jobs MSPs actually do.
Find, summarize and update tickets, add notes and reassign work without opening Autotask. In Claude, tickets appear as interactive cards.
Log and check time entries in conversation, and spot missing or misfiled time before payroll and billing close.
Unbilled and aged billable work, block-hour usage and overage, ticket charges and the to-bill queue, so less of your work goes uninvoiced.
Merge duplicate companies and contacts and clear placeholder or spam records in bulk, with history checks and a review table before anything changes.
Reconcile vendor purchasing, such as Pax8, against what's set up and billed in Autotask, and standardize your service catalog.
n8n and ChatGPT workflows triggered by Autotask webhooks, with every action recorded in an audit ledger. Built by GDS on Enterprise.
Governed by design
Giving AI access to client records and billing takes guardrails. PSArelay has them built in, and they line up with the AI governance work GDS Technology does for clients.
Start read-only. Turn on changes when you're ready, with a confirmation before any write.
Each staff member acts as themselves, limited to what their role allows. Feature switches flip without a restart.
Who asked for what, what changed, and when, recorded for every action.
Built-in throttling and backoff keep heavy AI use from tripping Autotask's API limits.

FAQ
Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for connecting AI to business systems. Your team uses its own AI subscriptions (billed by those providers), and we help connect them. There are no per-ticket or AI usage fees from us.
Only if you allow it. You can run PSArelay read-only, or require a confirmation before any change. Bulk actions like merges and clean-ups always show a review first, and every action is logged.
Your PSArelay instance is hosted and secured by GDS Technology, using an Autotask API user you control and can revoke at any time. AI assistants reach Autotask only through PSArelay's gated actions, never with your credentials directly.
Yes. The full source is on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license, so you can run, inspect and modify it yourself for free. Hosted plans pay for GDS to run it for you: hosting, security, updates, monitoring, onboarding and support, plus the reports, clean-ups and automations work on higher plans.
Yes. It's the same software either way. We'll help move your setup when you switch.
Yes. Each staff member connects their own AI assistant and works as themselves, with permissions set by role. The plan price is per MSP, so adding people doesn't add fees from us.
No. PSArelay works with Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that support MCP, and different people can use different ones. If you switch assistants later, PSArelay, your permissions and your audit trail stay the same.
No. Every plan is one flat monthly price per MSP (one Autotask tenant), whatever the size of your team. Plans start at $150/month, and Enterprise tops out at $500/month.
No servers to run. GDS hosts and updates it. Each user connects their AI assistant to your PSArelay address, and we walk your team through it.
